1.Dr.Bazurullahkhan currently working as a partnership GP in Wellingborough,Northamptonshire, UK completed his MBBS, MS [ General Surgery ] in India followed by MRCS and MRCGP in UK. He is happily married and blessed with a daughter.
2. Dr.Chitra is married and working as a GP in UK.
3. Dr.IndraSujatha completed her MBBS, MD [ O&G ] in India and is currently working in the same speciality in UK as a staff specialist.She is happily married with two children.
4 Dr.Krishnamoorthy completed his MBBS and MD [ Anaesthesia ] from India and is currently working as a Specialist Registrar in Anaesthetics in Manchester rotation. He is happily married and blessed with a daughter.
5. Dr.Manohar Jesuraj completed his MBBS from India and went to Belgium and ended up in UK.He finished his MRCS and FRCS [ urology ] and currently working as an Associate Specialist in Urology in Middlesborough, UK. He is happily married with two children.
6.Dr.Ramesh Shankar completed his MBBS, DPM, DNB [psych], DIP in India followed by MRCPsych in UK and Specialist Registrar Training in General Adult Psychiatry / Addiction Psychiatry. He is currently working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Mental Health Trust, Cambridgeshire in UK.He is happily married and blessed with two children.
7.Dr.Sakila completed her MBBS, MD[psych], DPM from India followed by MRCPsych. She is currently working as a Specialist Registrar In Psychiatry in Sheffield, UK. She has one child.
8.Dr.Senthurjeyamurugan completed his MBBS, MD[RD], DMRD in India followed by FRCR in UK and is currently working as a Locum consultant in Radiology in Walsall, Westmidlands, UK. He is leaving UK to do a fellowship in Interventional Radiology in Miami, USA in two months. He is happily married and blessed with two children.
9.Dr.Sriraman completed his MBBS,MD[Internal Medicine] from India followed by MRCP,PhD[Diabetes & Endocrinology ].He is currently working as a Specialist Registrar in Diabetes & Endocrinology in Poole, UK. He is happily married with two children.

Dear Friends,
You are cordially invited for The ALUMNI of TvMC 77 Batch – " The Resurge " to be held at Tirunelveli on 24th May 2008, along with a get-together at Courtallam on 25th May. This year being our 30th year of joining MBBS we have planned to felicitate our Professors. This event will be another excellent opportunity to meet our then Professors and other teachers in a casual atmosphere. The idea of having it in Tirunelveli is to Revert back to your olden days to Review and Revive your golden thoughts of student period.
You may be accompanied by your interested wards & spouse also. To help us plan better for the event, please confirm your participation at the earliest, ie 31st March. We invite each one of you personally and make the Re-Union a grand success. Since the time-spell is so narrow, this will be the first and final intimation. Kindly contact either of the organizing persons for further detail.
The details of the programme are as follows.

9am-10 am Get-Reacquainted Session with Brunch
10am-11.30 am Tour in and around the Hospital campus
12 noon Gathering in the auditorium & Group Photo Session

I am Ramesh Shankar from 1984 - 90 batch. Let me first wish you all good luck and a grand success of your reunion. I can still recollect my memories of meeting Dr.Andrewjebakumar,Dr.Subramanian and Dr.Thillai Vallal and Dr.Rajendran.I also worked as a House surgeon with Dr.Thillai and had met him when he did his DM in MMC where I did my DPM and DNB.I am living in UK as working as a Consultant in Psychiatry. A Reunion Cake was cut and distributed, lunch arranged from Hotel Aryaas and we spent the time chatting and seeing the old photos as well as the photos taken after graduation.
Coming to the formal part, it has been decided to conduct the next Reunion on May 9th 2009 (Second Saturday) and May 10th 2009 (Sunday)
- Day 1 : May 9th 2009 (Second Saturday)
- 9 AM : A formal Function to be presided by the Dean and inviting ALL Our Professors and others who taught us at the Tirunelveli Medical College Auditorium
- 1 PM : Lunch
- 2 PM : Games
- 5 PM : Starting Off to Thenmala (Kerala)
- 9 PM : Campfire at Resort
- Day 2 : May 10th 2009 (Sunday)
- An one day trip for Sightseeing
- 6PM - Returning Back to Tirunelveli
Well the date has been announced 874 days, 124 weeks, and 25 months in advance. So no excuses for not coming next time !!!!.

| 96 Batch - 2006 Meet - Preliminary Meeting Details |
Larif, myself, Sudagar, Karthi met at our Good Old CRRI Quarters on 15th October Evening and then had Dinner at Hotel Aryaas. Karthi had just come to Nellai after his practical exams on 13th by Guruvayoor Express that evening.
We have decided to
- Collect Contact details of all the batchmates
- To inform them that we are conducting a reunion at TvMC Auditorium
(24/12/2006)17/12/2006 Sunday
- Send them a preliminary mail
Masters of the Millennium (1996 to 2002 Batch)will be meeting for the first time after graduating from the college at Abinaya A/c Hall, Hotel Aryaas, Tirunelveli on 17th Decemeber 2006, Sunday 9:30 AM
The original meet was scheduled at 20-06-2006 that had been postponed because many guys had their exams in September and many others were busy with their (or spouse's) TNPSC counseling, and joining duty in new places.
The date has been decided as 24/12/2006 17/12/2006 Sunday. 9:30 AM to 2 PM. Since the next day is Christman, a govt holiday, it will be easy for every one to travel back Since 24th comes along with Christmas, many people asked for the date to be changed to another day.
Venue : Abinaya A/c Hall, Hotel Aryaas, Tirunelveli. We will let you know whether it will be Auditorium (we have to get permission for that from the present Dean) or Some other place like Hotel Aryaas (like our Pre Final Farewell in Feb 2000)
A Preliminary Meeting (to decide about other details) was held on 15th October will be held next week in Tirunelveli. The exact time,date and venue is not yet decided. Larif, me, Sudagar, Baalamurugan, Elayaraja, Karthikeyan are in or around Nellai. Any one else who can join, please contact 98421 11725 and let us know
We need to decide the following
- Program Schedule
- Events
- Menu for Lunch
- Arrangement for Accomodation
- Sending Invitations
- Any Games etc
Suggestion welcome. The reason for posting this also in the Alumni Association page (in addition to TvMC 96) is to get suggestions from the senior batches regarding the conduct of reunion.
Seniors who have already organised such events may please spare a couple of minutes to tell us what to do and the common pitfalls etc

Update from Dr.Srinivasa Raghavan
- More than 50 families attended the meeting from batch 80s to Millennium.
- Well done Dr. Abu bakkar( small), Ramesh Shankar, and Abu Bakkar (big).
- Minutes of previous meeting was read by Dr.Nanthakumar (Nanthu-small).
- Dance by Santosh Kumar's (86 batch) daughter was excellent.
- The football match in the evening was very entertaining too.
- There was a birthday boy in the meeting.
- Mukund (Son of Srinivasa Raghavan 87 batch) celebrated his 5th birthday.
- It was agreed that the next meeting will be arranged by Naghadev and Sivalingham (88 batch).
